Our Team Beyond The Build
Beyond the Build: The Visionaries Redefining Custom Construction
The Leadership Philosophy: Custom home building is a high-stakes investment of both capital and emotion. At Setter Construction, our leadership team doesn’t just manage job sites; we curate experiences. We have intentionally structured our firm to solve the primary "pain points" of the industry—miscommunication, budget creep, and fragmented workflows. By integrating veteran industry experience with modern sustainable innovation, we ensure that "setting the standard" isn't a slogan, but a documented deliverable.
Most builders outsource their core roles, leading to a "broken telephone" effect between the architect, the estimator, and the foreman. Setter Construction operates differently.
Integrated Estimating: Every masterpiece begins with a viable plan. Our leadership integrates the estimating process into the earliest stages of design to ensure total alignment between your vision and the project’s execution. By maintaining this process in-house, we provide a rare level of financial clarity and technical foresight. We don’t just provide project costs; we engineer a roadmap that protects your investment and ensures every dollar is maximized for quality and longevity.
Direct Build Oversight: We believe that a project’s success is decided on the job site, not in an office. At Setter Construction, our leadership team is physically present on every build to oversee the work as it happens. This allows us to catch the small details before they become big problems. We hold our teams to a high standard of craftsmanship, focusing on the "bones" of the house—the structural work and systems behind the walls—just as much as the beautiful finishes you see at the end. For us, "setting the standard" means being there in person to ensure your home is built to last for generations.
Concierge Sales & Transition: We believe that clear, direct communication is the cornerstone of a successful build. By managing our sales, consultations, and project handovers internally, we provide our clients with a singular point of accountability. This continuity ensures that the nuances of your unique style and lifestyle needs are preserved from the first site visit to the final walkthrough. You are partnered with a leadership team that is personally invested in the success of your home and the long-term strength of our community.
Our Commitment to Future-Proofing: We believe a home should perform as well as it looks. Our team stays at the forefront of high-performance building science and sustainable practices. This means your home is built to withstand the elements, optimize energy consumption, and retain its value for generations. We aren't just constructing a structure; we are engineering a legacy of craftsmanship that goes far beyond the blueprint.
